Our wedding day was 100% Fun, meaningful and fabulous.

The day flew by but it was amazing from start to finish. We both laughed so much and genuinely had the best day.

We wanted our guests to feel special and to feel relaxed and think we achieved this. Our venue needed no real decoration as it is so beautiful…

After we had booked our venue the photographer was the next thing we wanted to book.

We knew we didn’t want someone who took hours of posed photos as we wanted to enjoy as much of the day with our guests as possible.

We had already seen Olga’s ( MrsRedhead Photography ) work and knew she would be the one for us. From the moment we met Olga she was fun and seemed to instinctively know what we wanted.

We are so happy that she was available, her work is amazing.

The photos are something we will cherish forever, just looking at them brings all the emotions of the day.

Our priorities were that we both felt at ease and didn’t want a very formal occasion.

We already have our children and wanted them involved. We also wanted somewhere where the food really stood out from the usual wedding menu.

Belleek Castle is a hard place to describe you just get a feeling from walking in that it is different to other hotels.

It is quirky and that really suited our personalities, all the smaller rooms make for an intimate feeling and the dungeon is out of this world. It is a great feeling to now be a tiny part of the history of this great place. The food is unbelievably good.

Guests are still telling us how great it was months later.

We loved having a spiritual ceremony – it meant our children, our parents and family were all involved. Deirdre had her late Grannys ring in her bouquet as part of her something old.

John’s father passed away less than 3 months after the wedding and it really is special to have had him involved in the day.

If you are sure of certain suppliers you want book them as soon as you can as the good ones book up really quickly.

Love your venue and make sure you stick to what you want, it is so easy to get distracted by all things wedding related and a lot of it is unnecessary.
